So many beautiful flowers in my garden.

Pick the flowers, rinse them well and let them dry a little. (You should of course make sure that they are not sprayed, i have only used clean water for mine).

Picking the petals and put them in the food processor along with the sugar. Blend until it looks like this.

Beautiful color. It will be a little brighter when it is completely dry.

You can dry it in the oven at 100 degrees celcius for an hour. I chose to let it air dry, covered on my kitchen table.

I also made something of rose petals. It is more aromatic and tastes great in tea.

My grandsons came to visit. We made Moomin-pancakes and they loved especially the purple sugar.
